I can’t remember how it began, but I started discreetly photographing men at my local swimming pool, using my phone and the reflection in my goggles like a periscope. Drawn to something I had never truly looked at before: male bodies. 

 

In the past two year, I’ve photographed hundreds.

Every piece of arm, leg, hair, chest, crotch: carefully snapped and archived. 

 

I’ve studied the way they hold themselves - chins up - with pride. 

 

If they can bottle entitlement, can I capture it? 

 

And am I, a lesbian, objectifying them? 

 

This series of photographs sits at the intersection of gaze subversion, anatomical research and pure voyeurism.
